Well, after about 5 years (maybe more), my poor mic finally gave up the ghost last night when talking with Sheridan / Count Zero.
So, I will be in game and Teamspeak, as soon as I get a new one.

I'm the kinda guy (isn't there a song that starts off that way?) that basically buys the best on the market, and then runs it till it's absolutely dead. I did that with my microphone. 5 or 6 years ago. See what I mean?

Does anyone know the quality on the completely wireless ones?
Everytime I have to get up and down? I WOULD LOVE to be able to just take my headset with me.

I have a temporary solution, until I get my permanent mic. I'll be using the mic through my webcam. It sucks as far as quality, but hey, it's voice.
My problem, is that I always face a ton of bills and expenses, at the exact same time, and I have a "policy" of always buying the best when I buy it. So I'm facing my monthly bills right now, (Rent, phones, etc), and also am looking at buying a Harley, the expenditures there, a $200 lifetime membership to LOTRO, and now I'd like to buy a wireless mic. As well, as taking a short trip to Chicago. And I just came out of trip from Mexico.
Oh yeah, and did I mention my wife wants $500.00 to go shopping over the weekend with her girlfriends in a couple of weeks?
Yikes. I have a feeling I'll be putting down the $9.99 option for LOTRO, and then before I'm billed the first month, upgrading to the $199.00

Not much of a vent fanatic but Logitech headset, behind the head with mic. 13.99 at your local Walmart. ;D
