Apparently there are a number of kinships (I don't know how many exactly) that are planning a Freep Raid of the Ettenmoors on Jan. 25th. (Friday). My friends at Defenders of the Light have a sign up going for their group. www.defendersolight.proboards54.com/index.cgi?board=discussion&action=display&thread=1200324407I signed up with their group. I would think they would welcome any others from our group that want to go with them as well. But you will have to head over to their website and sign up. Depending on the creep population that night, it might be a good night to grab actual quests in Ettenmoors and have a chance to complete them.

Yeah, if eveyone who says they will be there shows up the creeps will most likely log off... good night to knock out some quests and get some fresh blood in there though.

Yeah, sounds like fun! 7:00pm EST, though. By the time I get there, I suspect the action, if there is any, will be long over. I have seen a lot of chatter on the forums that the creeps plan to log if numbers are too overwhelming. With no creeps, I'd love to see 4 or 5 raids rush Grams all at once. Make it a contest to see who gets the farthest inside before the one-shot hits. ;D

Yeah and witnessed the same thing when there wasn't much of a freep population happening. With the changes they made, Seems like it killed pvmp. But Im waaay new to it.

Ettenmoors has a lot to do with when you go in there.
In my experience in there (and Resomer feel free to correct me if I am wrong since you are in there a lot more than I am), Americans tend to favor the creep side, so if you go in during the day or early evening, freeps tend to be outnumbered by creeps most of the time. There are still some good battles, but it is usually pretty rare that a keep gets taken.
But the Aussies like to play the freep side, so if you go in later at night and our early morning (hence when it is their day time) you can usually get better opportunities for the freep quests and renown.

Yeah, that sounds about right... Preying Mantis will sometimes take their Rift and Helegrod raids in there and that is sometimes enough to turn the tide...sometimes. I haven't been in there much the past few days as I got a little burnt out grinding for that rank 6 shield.
My little hunter is really fun too!

Speaking of ranks...made Rank 3 - Woot! Palenen - I didn't understand until after your creep corpse was lying next to me that it was your creep name that you had sent to me via tell just before you logged. I was lmao! My understanding is that you can't see freep emotes, but I waved.

Play a creep. NEVER! You 3 will have to pry the axe from my cold, dead hand before I play a creep. (of course, with 3 of you, and the very little damage that guardians can dish out, cold and dead is most likely what I would be

ROFL!! Its difficult for a creep to get dp's. The simple quests at Gram's only give 125dp's. You have to take quests say from Lug to get the 250dp's or the 500 dp's rewards. (i think) ONLY your first 6 passive skills take 500dp's each, never level is 1500 per. THEN traits and skills I think start at 1500dp's. So I have a lvl 50 warg with no attacks (well the three that gave, a weak slow, a weak dot and a weak damage. (I think) You do get the sprint or whatever its called to run away but thats on a hour cool down. No way to get the big dp's when the whole map is already creep. Anyways, The creeps who run around are very suspicious of spies. So if you don't know them, well, Ill leave it at that. So what I see is ganking. Me. For there is little way I could put up a fight.
Morlyx- As for last night. HAHAHAHAH.. I saw you were there, Sent that tell. Then preceeded to be very careful trying to find you. Fortunately Lug was close. Mind you this is the weakest stealth a warg has. I scaled the walls, turned the corner and kept'd toggling through targets til I found you. Pretty funny for a crept'd right through the middle of all the freeps. To pounce. 6 blows later, maybe it was 50 blows. /shrug defeated. Its too bad I couldnt speak to you. I left the corpse there for some time because I was laughing I disagree off.
on another note. I joined the creep vent. I said Hi and mentioned that the freeps were getting another minstrel. You wouldnt believe the negitivity i received back. And thats all I said. I started to explain I saw one of my kin logged into Ettens and thoughT I would get the warg to go after him. Before I could even complete that sentence, they cut me off and said "Stop while your a head." I wanted to say wtf are you all talking about? Rude ass bastards! Then a minute or two later, I hear someone on there saying "I think we have another JJ-itis around." I havent a clue what they were talking about but again, since assumptions are the mother of all screw ups, I assumed they were thinking they had a spy abouts. Since I was new, Me? Ah well. If they know ya, Im sure things are different.

Palenen - I am sorry to hear about your vent experience. I have been in some freep raids where the discourse has been similarly paranoid, and/or just plain negative. It's really too bad, imo. I play for fun and listening to people complain and toss out negativity lessens the fun for me. On the other hand, I believe playful banter and competitiveness enhances it, but it takes a certain level of maturity to navigate rivalry in a positve way. The unfortunate truth is that some people either 1) haven't yet achieved that maturity level, or 2) view the the hostility/paranoia as a plus relative to the way they enjoy the game. Being more optimistic, it is likely that people were simply trying to avoid any possible problems and attempting to stick to a "if your a creep, then divulge only what you know as a creep" philiosophy, so that they can reasonably expect the same from the freeps. I mostly just keep my mouth shut and follow instructuions. Maybe when I reach rank 5 or 6 I'll speak up more, but I doubt it. ;D Have fun and follow your bliss! P.S. (relating to a different post) - And play your Elf Champ all day long if you want to!

P.S. (relating to a different post) - And play your Elf Champ all day long if you want to! That would be a reference to me. Hey, I was just saying I ditched mine because he died too often and the repair bills were just ugly. Like I said, it can be done, it just is a very hard class to play within the elf race.

No offense taken. If you want to frustrate yourself to death by rolling an elf champ. You go right ahead. If last night was any indication. It could be short lived in the moors on Friday night. The entire board outside of Isendeep was freep controlled. So I don't know if the creep players are just anticipating the big moors roll and are leaving it alone until after Friday or what. But unless the board goes to the creeps, there isn't going to be much to do in there on Friday. I mean it was ugly yesterday. The creeps couldn't even get out of their main base, and it was not like there wasn't enough of them. They had a good raids worth at least. It was like shooting fish in a barrel.
