For those that haven't heard, I took a bit of a bad spill.
Was running home the other night and stepped on what looked like a wet piece of sidewalk.
It was ice
Came down so hard that my hand split from thumb to wrist. I could literally hear my wrist pop open from the impact alone. I mean, I landed - HARD. I look down on the sidewalk where I landed and tried to soften my fall.
Glass was in it, rock salt. Gravel. Yeah. Good stuff.
Then the next morning I wake up thinking - this is hurting a lot more than it should. So I go to take off the wrapping that Steph put me in. Now we looked long and hard at the wound the previous night.
It seems that a piece, or sliver of glass had buried itself in my hand, and was working in the wound all of last night. when I took off the bandage, the glass slid out of the wound stuck to the bandage.

A lot of it.
We had to look through and get the rest out with a set of headloop magnifying glasses. Ugh, I felt like a truck ran over my hand.
Now, it appears I screwed up my back as well. I've been having lower back spasm for 2 days now, and have been having to go from those heat wraps, to ice off and on.
So sorry I haven't been in game much, but been trying to lay on my back and take it easy.

My mother did that a couple years ago. black ice on stoop outside the front door. She actually broke her wrist in two.
