You can download the patch now.
Looks like about 2700 patches.
Not as bad as I thought.
Enjoy.

Really? I started with 3003. Sorta funny, I guess they started earlier. We are sitting in TS talking about our transfer speeds - as they opened it up early. We were crusing from 150 - 225 KB/s. 2:00 pm hit? We're down to 25 KB/s. LOL
Edit: Back up to the 250's now though (2:27 pm). Probably opened it up a bit on their end. . .

okay I went in briefly because I am at work. I was in the misty mountains. Why did they turn off my guardian stance and ore radar after every horse use? That means I have to remember to turn at least the stance back on if I get combat knocked off my horse. The only other new thing I noticed was, rich platinum ore....what is rich platinum ore used for? Did they change any other ores?

Also noticed that they upped the armor minimum levels...thus further reducing the usefulness of armorsmithing. You can't give armor away as it is because the level requirements were too high in comparison to what people where getting in the way of questing gear. Why OH Why did they RAISE the level? For the love of all that is good and holy why are they torturing me? We told them about this problem back in November and December and they still don't get it.

The folks doing the content updates, aren't Hakai, Rhidden, Scenario and the rest of them. They primarily 'built' the game. Different team works on the content updates.
We have to 'train' a new development team all over again. ;D

Found out about the toogle skills being turned off when mounted. That was apparently in response to burglars being able to stealth ride. Which was occurring in the Ettenmoors. And so it begins, pvp problems affecting pve people. I believe the "rich" nodes of ore and "heavy" nodes of wood are supposed to be the new rare nodes that give you more ore than the regular ones. At least, that's the best I can figure as to what they are, because once you tap the node the material you loot is the same as the regular nodes. However, I have yet to tap a rich or heavy node and have it actually give me more ore or wood than the normal ones. So it might be bugged. I am not certain what they did to Fate, but wow does it make a difference now in how you take damage and deal it out.

I tapped a Rich Silver node and it yielded 3 Silver Ore and 2 Opals, then I tapped a Rich Iron node and it yielded 3 Rich Iron and 1 Saphire. Maybe the new 'rich' nodes are deposits that guarantee jewel yields as well as a max 3 ore yield?

That certainly could be, but I have been getting more jewels as loot from just about everything as well, not just the rich nodes. Eh, who knows.

Yeah, I tried to lobby to get them to take mounts out of PvMP altogether since MPs have NO mounts at all, but instead they do this ham-handed "fix" for the stealth-horse exploit...sucks. I kept forgetting to turn my fervor back on after getting off the horse...luckily the mobs we were fighting weren't that tough. I guess ore-mining will have to be either visual or on foot.
I did notice that a lot of the quests rewards and mob drops in Evendim are food and celebrant/athelas potions. I'm sure cooks and scholars aren't too pleased about that. Hopefully, after a few days everyone will adjust to the changes.

BATBOY SAY: U REED PATCH NOTEZ NUUB!!!Heavy branches and Rich ore deposits can now be found in the world. These uncommon resource nodes are higher yield than normal resource nodes, giving a bit more variety to their respective harvesting systems.sigh...dis kinship fall apart witout me...
