I just came across a website that offers to power level your character to a certain level for x number of dollars. For example, they would take my level 45 character to 50 for $160 and it would take a little more than a week.

I have never heard of such a thing. I would imagine it is against the Turbine ToS.

Wow. There are so many things a MMO noob like me never even thought of.

Yeup. The same people that offer those services, are those that offer to sell you gold.

And yes, very, very much against the ToS.
