After the spider-slaying fun last night, I went to Rivendell and saw the Burglar Knife-fighting book on the AH for about 150 silver. Snagged that and got the deed to collect the eight missing pages.

I looked like one other legendary trait also first required the book, and one other just required the pages. Not sure if that applies to the other classes, but may want to check it out.
