An idea that my old WOW guild did that worked

hey guys, i don't know if you guys do anything like this, but.... my old guild in wow had a little business of sorts. we had a master craftsman for each skill and we would all contribute materials on a donation basis that crafters would use to either: 1. craft items that all the money would go to a bank for a mount assistance fund 2.use the materials for potions and other items for guild raids that were conducted 3. or to craft high end items to guild members on a priority basis i.e. craft best armor available to main tank or for everyone; crafted onyxia
cloaks to guild members running the certain instance where it was almost a priority for toons to wear. there could be a million reasons to do something like this, I'm still new to lotr so i am not familiar with all the different uses this could be used for. just wanted to throw out a friendly suggestion. would love to get some feedback from more experienced players, as well as anyone else. what do you think? cya guys

We have a "kinship bank" of sorts that we use...an alt character named "Sheriden". We use this for storing extra crafting supplies and quest items and as a "collective fund" for mounts, etc.

For crafting...we are kind of informal about that...we trade recipes and resources to whoever needs them and if someone needs specific items crafted such as armor, weapons, tools, potions, food...whatever we typically just ask in TS or message each other and as a courtesy we try to help out by gathering resources that the crafter may need to get the items crafted.

Aye, that's how I got the leather and some of the ore needed to craft your Armor Timateo.

Otherwise I would have had to go and farm it.

There's all kinds of stuff in the bank for crafting.

Plus, we each probably have a bag or two of crafting stuff that we are hauling around with us. So if you need anything just ask. We probably have it somewhere, except the rare spawn trophies, and if we don't we can direct you to the spot to get it.
