Wow, and I heard these PM guys were all elitist and insular. What a great opportunity, I'm gonna take them up on their offer for sure. Any suggested dates that we might go together as a group for this?

These guys know their stuff. We did everythng but Thorog in about 2 hours... total repair bill 250s.

By the way.... they use Ventrillo for voice communication during these raids. So if you are going to join them, you will need to download the client.

I am heading in to Helegrod with a group of good friends tonight. That is Friday at 8 or 9 pm EST.
I don't know if there will be spots open or not, but if you are interested, shoot me a tell in game and I will try to get you invited.
They are a pretty experienced group. They have done everything in there multiple times with the exception of Thorog. I don't know if they have beat him yet.
Also, I am going to try to hook up with the Preying Mantis raid on Sunday night if anybody else wants to join me.

It's a conspiracy I tell ya !! Due to work related issues, I didn't get home until after 9pm last night so I missed the opportunity to do the Helegrod raid . . . again. I'm gonna try and make it this Sunday unless something else transpires to keep me from getting there.  |

I hate to burst your bubble Sheridan, but Preying Mantis has stopped their invitation to the public. It was only good until the new book was added yesterday.
However, the friends I went with last Friday are really good as well. We did everything but Thorog. It was no where near as fast as Resomer's run with PM, but it was still very good. They also usually need extra people to help with the run. So I will make it known the next time I get an invite to go with them.

From the forum thread that I read...PM was only opening the invitation until the new patch was released, after which they were going to close it to kinship members and invitees only.
So I could be mistaken and they might still do a run for the public, but that is not what the forum I read indicated.

Last time I ran with them Agrivere said that they were going to see how the raid locks on the new one were then decide on their future Helegrod runs. Personally, I think the new raid has better loot and will be a bit easier as it is only a 12-person raid.

I don't know about easier. I saw somebody talking in OOC yesterday about it and they said they did not get very far into it at all. He made it sound as though it is much more difficult than was let on.
Guess we will have to try it and see.
It can't be as bad as BG I have heard that instance is brutal.
