Having never played a champion beyond level 16, I don't really have a point of reference to gauge how these changes will affect the class. But I hope they help. I plan on rolling a champ here one day. Just trying to figure out if the man or dwarf race is better. Definitely not the elf race, tried that, died a lot. They just are not sturdy enough to be good champs.

I have a 15, my second character in open beta. Elf Champion. Never made it past 15.  Third was the Elf guard and you know the rest of the story. The first was of course the dwarf guard. Long gone. What a bunch of crap! The devs prima donna class is getting a 2nd upgrade which this was supposed to be the month of the Guardian. We get nerfed and get things added that do jack for us. |

When did we get nerfed?
For the most part, we have been nerfed from the get go. I will withhold judgment on the changes until I have played with them. Although from the description, some seem rather situational/last move of desperation at best.
Palenen, get rid of the elf champ. That is what mine was, they just do not hold up. They regen morale and power way too slowly. It certainly can be done, but I would say that elves are the hardest class to play champions with.

Oh i was venting. We didnt get much as like others received. Just changed and fluffed it seems. Eh, couple things might go over well. Its more of a preference. I dislike negitives. I like Parry. This new Overwhelm gives negitive evade when evade is already low. Yeah their are other things but like I said, I hate negitives. Just me. Never really intended to play a Champion. I tried it out. Thats why its still 15. He was my hide boiler and Pal was a armourer. That was also in the Open Beta phase. I couldn't possibly tell you what skills a Champion uses. It has been that long. Fever what? lol |
