Elendilmir Raiding Alliance
[/center]Welcome to the Elendilmir Raiding Alliance. This post is an overview of how the alliance will work and covers some general rules and guidelines. Our main purpose here is to have fun and experience some of the end-game content that might not be readily available to smaller kinships and solo players.
Attendance:
Participants are expected to be at the agreed upon “staging area” 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the raid. Those who are not at the designated location when the group is formed will have their positions filled by alternates. Positions will be filled based on level and class. I will try to make sure everyone who signs up has a chance to participate. If you don’t get in a group one week, you will be put in as a priority the next week.
Your character must be at least level 45 to participate.
Loot:
Group leaders will need-roll on items needed to start the second part of the raid as applicable. Participants can need-roll on their class items and crafting recipes only and greed-roll on everything else. Participants violating these rules will not be allowed to join us in the future.
Leaders:
Group leaders will be chosen based on experience with the given raid/quest, their familiarity with the in-game tools and their leadership skills. Participants are expected to follow instructions and know their roles in the group. Those who cannot work with the team will not be allowed to join us in the future. For simplicity’s sake we will use the in-game voice chat system for coordination.
Raids/Quests:
Our main focus will be on the Helegrod instance. I will also schedule times for the Angmar raids, Ettenmoors and some of the “end game” quests (Urugarth, Carn Dum, Barad Gularan, Book 8, etc.). I will typically schedule Helegrod for Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and the rest for Friday evenings.
